Hints and Tips:

• Don't overdo the backgrounds, choose one or two for a service and stick to them.
• Choose a font and stick to it! Lots of different fonts cause distraction.
• White text on black (or dark) background projects much better than black on white.
• For liturgy or songs in parts which would normally use bold and normal size text to show different parts use different colours instead (white and yellow tend to work well).
• Choose a transition and stick to it - lots of different ones distract. "Blend" is the simplest and often the most effective.
• Move from verse to verse while the last word or so is still being sung - people naturally read ahead a little and seeing the word JUST before having to sing it distracts people.
• Easy Worship doesn't (yet) having any timings, we have created a timed powerpoint presentation with notices to show at the start and end of a service.
• Have the Easy Worship operator near the band for easy communication if anything changes from plan.
