Testimonials
We deal with many churches starting to use data projectors
we have often been asked to recommend software packages to use
with this equipment. For some time we provided a a list of such
software with no real recommendation as we used Powerpoint (on
PCs) or Keynote (on Macs).
However after hearing good and bad stories from various churches
who had settled on one product or another, we decided to recommend
Easy Worship to all our customers and have been able to negotiate
with the manufacturers to become a UK reseller for this product.
Below are a few words from people who implemented Easy Worship
in one church...
From a worship leaders point of view:
"A fantastic product. Easy worship has given us the clarity
and flexibility that we always wanted in displaying our song
words. Having something custom-made for church worship has been
ideal. It's easy to use in all aspects, and the preview part
of the screen is invaluable.
The background and video features help people to focus, and
the scripture facility has been enormously beneficial, especially
during sermons. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this software
to anyone - it's great for any size of group."
Jenny Cheung, Worship Co-ordinator.
From a Tech's point of view:
"Our church was using an OHP each week for morning and
evening services, when occasionally we started to use a data
projector for special events. At first it was only me who set
up the projector, computer, cables and then operated the system
for the service. After a year or so of using this equipment
for only one service a month it became apparent that this was
a waste of resources but at the time it meant that I had find
some way for others to do it or I would be tied down to setting
up and running the equipment for every service.
I trawled the Internet for worship software, downloaded and
tested out five before settling on Easy Worship. Some were actually
more powerful and 'feature rich' than Easy Worship, but they
were also very hard to learn to use effectively. After trying
out EW for several weeks we started to recruit operators and
after one training evening I sat in with each operator for a
couple of services and that was it. We actually found it much
less painless than expected.
Easy Worship is very easy to operate. The licence means that
anyone who leads worship (we have a number of different groups)
can have a copy, prepare the schedule/running order and just
turn up with that on disk. If the preacher has a presentation
to add it that can be done without problem and the notices are
automatically run as a powerpoint presentation before and after
the service. The first people to give us feedback on the system
was the older members of the congregation who liked it because
the words were much larger and clearer on the screen so there
has been very little complaints."
